MY WORLD
At the heart of everything I create is a love of harmony. The kind that happens when voices, stories, and convictions find each other and resonate together. I've been drawn to that feeling since I first sang with my sister.
These are the spaces where that harmony lives. Where we gather through story, song, sport, and collective action. And where something real happens when we do.

Music – Music is how I hold and honor my own personal creative space. When I sing, I shine. When I harmonize with others, I shine brighter. From local performances to showcases celebrating fellow singer-songwriters, visit dianaweynandmusic.com to hear more. Below is a sample.
Music has also been how I bear witness. In 2015, following the tragic shooting at Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, I wrote "I Will Rise" to honor the nine lives lost. Every year I return to that song — and to them. It's available on YouTube and Amazon Music. It's one of the pieces I'm most proud of.

Each space is different in form, but the intention is always the same: to create a circle of presence where we can learn, laugh, reflect, and shine together.

S.O.W. Collective Backyard Farms:
Regenerative Farming In The Valley
Tuesday, June 9th, 7pm PT
Join us for our next engaging Climate Reality Project chapter meeting!
Restoring land goes hand in hand with restoring relationships—with the earth, with each other, and with ourselves.
In 2020, a group of women in the San Fernando Valley came together with a shared vision: to transform neglected spaces into places that could grow produce and feed people while creating a sense of community and connection. Together they cleared a lot, rebuilt the compacted soil, and began the slow, steady work of regeneration—both of the land and of the community around it. Through composting, mulching, and regenerative practices, they replenished the soil with life, and began to grow organic, pesticide-free produce to share freely with their community.
What started as a small act of mutual aid has grown into The S.O.W Collective Backyard Farms, where 100% of the harvest is donated to community members who need it most. In addition to their farm sites in Reseda and Arleta, S.O.W. Collective has helped install garden beds in schools and around the community, donating seeds, tools, starter plants, and trees, and creating a neighborhood-scale food system rooted in care and reciprocity. Along the way, their hands-on workshops, composting and gardening classes, family gathering days, and festivals have made their sites into joyous community hubs.
Join us on June 9th to hear from Shift Our Ways (S.O.W.) Collective co-founder Stephanie Gomez about their local regenerative farms and how it all began. If you've ever wanted to be part of growing and feeding your community, now's your chance!
Tuesday June 9th, 7:00pm Register here.
